How Egg Donation Works
The clinic is your source for individualized medical advice, risks, medications, and recovery instructions. The order of matching and medical screening can vary by program, so your coordinator will explain the sequence that applies to your cycle.
The Egg Donation Process

Inquiry & Initial Review
Tell us about yourself and your interest in donation so we can review basic program criteria and answer initial questions.

Matching
You are given information about the proposed match and decide whether you are comfortable proceeding.

Screenings
If you meet preliminary requirements, the fertility clinic and other qualified professionals guide the psychological, medical, and genetic screening required for the cycle.

Legal & Cycle Preparation
The appropriate agreements and consent steps are completed, and the fertility clinic provides instructions for medications, monitoring, and timing.

Monitoring & Egg Retrieval
The fertility clinic directs the medication cycle, monitoring appointments, and egg retrieval procedure, and provides post-procedure instructions and follow-up care.

Payment and Support
Your coordinator remains available for cycle-related logistics, approved travel and compensation payout, communication, and other non-medical questions.
